
Headland spreading is made by changing the rotation direction of the spreading discs, so that the spreading technique is working in accordance with the off-center principle.
That means that the back side of the spreading vanes is used and a very exact spreading to headland is achieved.
At headland spreading (to border) the right spreading disc spreads full quantity to border, while left spreading disc overlaps like when spreading normal spreading.
When spreading headland (from border) the right side of the machine is closed.
Shift between headland and normal spreading is made either by:
